African Team Ministries

This ministry sends many hand-crafted items—clothing, jewelry, musical instruments—made in Africa for Redeemer parishioners to purchase. Proceeds support many projects, including AIDS education, literacy programs, mosquito nets to combat malaria and much more.

Michael's Way

Michael's Way is a ministry that focuses on furthering the education of the people who have worked to get their GED through United Ministries. Michael's Way is a coalition of churches that fight poverty with education. Funding is through individual donations of $100 per year. GED graduates attend classes that are a great start to a career that can raise a person or family out of poverty.

Pleasant Valley Connection

Several members of Redeemer are involved with this wonderful ministry which includes: a children's after-school and summer program; Seniors activities; literacy and GED instruction; parenting programs and much more.

York Place

This residential treatment facility serves children and adolescents who are in many different types of crisis. In many cases, York Place works with the whole family to restore the family unit. We have collected school supplies for the children and books for their new library. Both Dioceses in South Carolina support this ministry, primarily with donations from individuals and churches.
