| York Place |
A Residential Treatment Facility that serves children and adolescents who are in many different types of crisis. In many cases, York Place works with the whole family to restore the family unit. We have collected school supplies for the children and books for the new library that was built. Both dioceses in South Carolina support this ministry, primarily with donations provided by individuals and churchs. Redeemer has sold pins for York Place and will again soon. |
Michael's Way |
Michael's Way is a ministry that focuses on furthering the education of the people who have worked to get their GED through United Ministries. Michael's Way is a coalition of churches that fight poverty with education. Funds are raised by signing people up to commit to a donation of $100 per year. GED graduates attend classes that are a great start to a career that can raise a person or family out of poverty. |
African Team Ministries |
This ministry sends many items that are made in Africa for Redeemer parishioners to purchase. These purchases support many projects, including AIDS education, literacy programs, mosquito nets to combat malaria and much more. |
Pleasant Valley Connection |
Several Members of Redeemer are involved with this wonderful ministry. The program most supported by Redeemer is the children's after school and summer program. In addition, they have a Senior Activity program, Literacy and GED programs, parenting programs and much more. |
